Welcome to Vedere! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Vedere’s website and the purchase of our AI smart glasses. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website.

Definitions
Student Company: One or more students of an educational institution who, as part of their curriculum, form a company under the legal and fiscal responsibility of Stichting Jonge Honden.

Stichting Jonge Honden: A foundation that enables educational institutions to allow students to participate in the student company concept. Stichting Jonge Honden is responsible for financial settlement, insurance, and reporting to the Dutch Tax Authorities.

Stichting Studentenbedrijf: Responsible for managing the websites www.studentenbedrijf.nl and shop.studentenbedrijf.nl.

Educational Institution: The school or university that has an agreement with Stichting Jonge Honden to offer the student company concept.

Cooling-off Period: The period during which the customer may cancel the purchase.

Users: All visitors to the webshop.

Customers: A person who purchases a product for non-business purposes.

Right of Withdrawal: The right of the customer to cancel a purchase within the cooling-off period.

Distance Contract: A purchase agreement concluded via the internet or telephone.

Model Withdrawal Form: A standard form that customers may use to cancel a purchase, included as an appendix to these terms.

The student company operates under the Chamber of Commerce and VAT numbers of Stichting Jonge Honden.

Stichting Jonge Honden is responsible for the financial, fiscal, banking, and legal actions taken by the student company.

Applicability
These terms apply to every offer made by the student company and to every agreement concluded via the internet or telephone.

Before placing an order, customers can read these terms. If this is not possible, the terms will be provided digitally so they can be stored.

The Offer
If an offer has a limited validity period or specific conditions, this will be clearly stated.

The offer includes a clear description of the product or service. Images, if provided, accurately represent the product. Obvious errors are not binding.

The offer contains all information necessary for the customer to understand their rights and obligations.

The Agreement
The agreement is concluded when the customer accepts the offer and meets the stated conditions.

If the agreement is concluded online, the customer will receive confirmation by email. If no confirmation is received, the customer may cancel the agreement.

Right of Withdrawal
Customers may cancel their purchase within 14 days without providing a reason. The student company may ask for the reason, but the customer is not obliged to provide one.

The cooling-off period starts on the day the customer receives the product.

For services and digital content, the cooling-off period also applies and starts on the day the agreement is concluded. If costs have already been incurred, the customer must pay these costs.

Customer Obligations During the Cooling-off Period
During the cooling-off period, customers must handle the product and packaging with care and may only use the product as they would in a physical store.

If the product decreases in value due to the customer’s actions, the customer may be held liable.

How to Cancel and Associated Costs
To cancel, customers must notify the student company within the cooling-off period using the model withdrawal form or another clear method.

Customers must return the product as soon as possible, but no later than 5 working days after cancellation, unless the student company offers to collect the product.

The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original packaging.

The customer bears the risk of return shipment.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Obligations of the Student Company Upon Cancellation
The student company will confirm receipt of the cancellation by email.

The student company will refund all payments made for the returned product, excluding return shipping costs.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the customer has purchased:

A custom-made product

A product that deteriorates quickly

A sealed product that has been opened and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons

A product that has been irreversibly mixed with other products

Opened sealed audio or video recordings

Prices
Prices listed in the offer include VAT and will not be increased during the offer period, except in the case of VAT rate changes.

Price increases within three months after concluding the agreement are only allowed if required by law.

Price increases after three months are only allowed if the customer has the right to terminate the agreement.

Quality and Additional Guarantees
The student company guarantees that products and services comply with the agreement and legal requirements.

An additional guarantee is a promise beyond the student company’s legal obligations.

Any additional guarantee does not limit the customer’s statutory rights.

Delivery and Execution
The student company will process and deliver orders with due care and as quickly as possible, but no later than 30 days.

In case of delivery delays, the customer will be informed within 30 days and may cancel the agreement free of charge.

The risk of damage or loss remains with the student company until delivery.

Payment
Payments must be made directly via iDEAL, unless otherwise agreed.

Additional Provisions
Customers are informed that they are purchasing from a student company, which operates differently from a regular business.

Customers take this into account when placing orders, returning products, and communicating.
